Welcome to the Soroptimist International of Sequim (SIS) website.
The word “soroptimist” is a coined Latin phrase meaning “best for women” and that’s what we strive to achieve.

Soroptimist come together to make our community and our world a better place for women and girls and in this, our 71st year, we are proud to say that SIS is 75 members strong.

This year’s theme is “We Rise by Lifting Others”. Our success comes from the willingness of our members to bring energy, ideas and a kind heart to support and participate in our programs and projects. SIS fundraising efforts help support numerous local non-profits, as well as scholarships and awards enabling women and girls to improve their lives.

Join us and be prepared to work hard and have loads of fun in the process. Don’t be surprised if you rise by lifting others.
