It’s been a busy summer for the TEAM handling the NWR Website. As your Internet Coordinator I have updated our member and club officer information on the intranet. Remember that I will be checking in from time to time to be sure everyone makes a visit to the region website: www.soroptimisnwr.com. You will find two great new features there.

Now available is a SEARCHABLE calendar of events online on the NWR Intranet site. You can still print out the President’s Calendar so you have it when your computer is shut off!

Another wonderful feature is: We can now go to www.soroptimistnwr.com, click on the Submit Your News Article in the What’s New section, and upload our Word or text document and picture(s) for publication on the website!

Once the article and picture(s) have been uploaded, our Web Development Team will be notified by email it is there waiting for them. They will then publicize our article as soon as possible.

The NWR NewsOnline will be viewable from the Members’ Only AND the public part of the website.

BUT - they can’t publicize our news unless we upload it to the site - so they are encouraging clubs to start sending them installation articles and pictures, memorable news about members, fundraisers, etc.

We plan to submit the Relay For Life article that is in this newsletter.

The NWR Website is changing everyday - new news, new ideas, new features. It’s a happening kind of place and we all make it happen. Each time you visit the site, you will learn something new. So visit www.soroptimistnwr.com often. INVEST a moment of time and get connected to the TEAM.
