Hi, my name is
Kathy Purcell. I am the SI Sequim Internet Coordinator. You may recognize
me as the Education/WIN Committee Coordinator, or Editor of our Soropti-Scoop
newsletter, or Webmaster of our club website: www.sisequim.com
and Garden Show website: www.sequimgardenshow.com.
The Internet Coordinator
(IC) is a new position. There is going to be a learning curve. The
IC is responsible for updating club data and educating the membership
on the website. That means I will need copies of the 5008 forms that
show the information for new members and changes for current members.
I tried to add our club web address, but it did not work. I sent e-mail
to Kathy Sechrist, Webmaster extraordinaire of the Region website.
She acknowledged receipt of my e-mail on a Tuesday morning. By Wednesday
morning I received another e-mail letting me know the problem (all
part of the learning curve...) had been fixed. How cool is that!
Members can access
the new regional website at: www.soroptimistnwr.com.
Some information is available to the general public, some only to
members.
For information
available only to members, you click on Members Only Area,
then click on NWR Member Intranet Website. It will ask
for your User name and password. The User name is your Soroptimist
Membership number. The password is your LastnameFirstname. If you
dont remember the info, there is a place to ask for the info
to be e-mailed to you, or you can contact me. I have a list of the
Membership numbers.
The logon screen will look something like what you see below:

If you experience
problems with this form, please contact Webmaster@soroptimistnwr.com
You can find the
Governors Corner, your member information, various forms, calendars,
contact information, Regional Committees, Regional newsletter (current
and archives). Coming soon is an area called NEWS! It will include
Region and Federation News, as well as allow us to add our news articles.
The Northwestern
Region website will continue to evolve. I will do my best to keep
the SI Sequim club and member information current, and to keep you
informed of new things available. We will make it through this learning
curve together. Together Everyone Achieves More.
